About me
Mr William Breakey Consultant Plastic & Cleft Surgeon Mr William Breakey is a UK-trained Consultant Plastic Surgeon on the GMC Specialist Register. His practice is defined by an artistic, natural approach, shaped by his early background as a portrait artist and refined through extensive surgical training.
He believes in subtle, thoughtful changes that preserve individuality while restoring balance and confidence. He undertook advanced fellowship training in Melbourne, Australia, focusing on craniofacial surgery and rhinoplasty, before returning to the UK to take up his current role as Consultant Cleft and Plastic Surgeon at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
His specialist interests include rhinoplasty, facelift and neck lift surgery, eyelid rejuvenation, and lip lift, alongside the care of children and adults with cleft and craniofacial conditions. Mr Breakey has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and regularly presents at national and international meetings, contributing to the ongoing development of both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. In both NHS and private practice, he is known for his calm, thoughtful manner and commitment to delivering results that are natural, subtle, and enduring.
