About me
Rob is a specialist Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon who has lived in the north-east since 2003. He graduated from Newcastle University with a Merit in 2008 and undertook his postgraduate training in the North East. He completed a post-certification fellowship at the prestigious Canniesburn Plastic Surgery unit in Glasgow and is a Consultant at the Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI) in Newcastle Upon Tyne. He is the current Head of Department for the RVI Breast unit, and oversees the organisation and running of an internationally renowned centre of excellence.
Rob has a particular interest in training the next generation of surgeons and teaches on a number of national courses. He has published peer-reviewed research widely, and is the current local Principle Investigator of a number of national research trials.
Rob has steadily built his highly-rated cosmetic breast surgery practice and has developed a specialist interest in breast reduction surgery and mastopexy. He is passionate about achieving excellent outcomes for his patients and the transformative effects that surgery can have.
