Rebecca Wilson

Rebecca Wilson has over 10 years experience in performing a full spectrum of breast procedures from breast cancer surgery and reconstruction to complex revisional surgery and is nationally certified to perform cosmetic surgery.

Rebecca, originally from Sunderland, qualified from Newcastle Medical School in 2008. She completed her basic surgical training across the North East before embarking on advanced surgical training in hospitals across the North West. As a senior breast trainee, she completed a period of formal research into capsular contracture in breast reconstruction at the world renowned Nightingale and Genesis Breast Centre in Manchester and also completed her final training here.

She worked under leading Breast and Plastic Surgeons at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, completing the prestigious National TIG Oncoplastic Breast fellowship. Rebecca continues to actively lead and engage in research to ensure she offers the most up to date, evidence based treatment for her patients. She has published many papers, presented her work widely and is often invited to speak at national and international breast meetings.

Outside of surgery, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the world with her boys as well as reading and keeping fit. Offering a personalised approach, Rebecca is committed to equip and empower women to make decisions, whilst providing the highest quality care with long-lasting results.
