This latter group is expanding rapidly alongside the increasing recreational use of intra-nasal substances.

Initial consultation

Diagnosis and treatment planning

Day of treatment
Many skin lesion procedures are carried out under local anaesthetic as a day case. More complex reconstructive procedures may require a general anaesthetic and, depending on complexity, an overnight stay. You’ll be given clear guidance on which applies to you well before the day itself.
Follow-up
You’ll be seen again to check healing and discuss results. Ongoing follow-up for skin cancer is provided in line with national clinic guidelines to monitor for recurrence over the appropriate period.
