At Beverley Clinic we have a well-regarded expert in skin cancer, Daniel Saleh, affliiated with the specialist skin cancer team at Newcastle Hospitals Trust, which provides services across the North of England. His primary focus lies in facial skin cancers and their reconstruction to achieve optimal aesthetic results.

He played a pivotal role in establishing the regional head, neck, and face sentinel lymph node service and receives national referrals for intricate cases of skin cancer affecting these areas, as well as for post-cancer facial reconstruction. This is particularly true for nasal reconstructions, where patients often prefer autologous (natural tissue) methods over prosthetics, or when the use of prosthetics is not feasible. Mr Saleh is acknowledged as a leading expert in nasal reconstruction, and he and his team have delivered lectures both nationally and internationally on skin cancer topics.

• Immediate consultation and treatment appointments, including dermoscopy (skin magnification), assessment, and minor surgical procedures under local anaesthetic

Nasal Reconstruction

Mr Saleh has built a reputable nasal reconstructive practice, receiving referrals from both national and international teams. His primary patient groups include individuals with nasal deformities resulting from skin cancer excision, those with post-granulomatous disease (PGA) that has resolved, and patients experiencing nasal collapse and perforation due to cocaine abuse—this latter group is expanding rapidly alongside the increasing recreational use of intra-nasal substances.

We collaborate closely with ENT specialists, including Mr Mohammed El-Badawey, to ensure optimal outcomes for patients.
